I am on 30mg prednisolone aday for a week,reducing 5mg a week im now on 15mg a day but for past 4 days iv had terrible palpitations in the day & at night, even worse, pulse 122 at times & bad soaking night sweats & left hand tremor - is this steroids?

You did not tell us what the indication for prednisolone. Those symptoms you have are not consistent with steroid side effects or vice versa, a tapering steroid dose. Please check with the doctor who is treating you for a revisit.
