A member asked:

A couple ecgs showed incomplete right bundle branch block and extreme axis deviation. then i had an echocardiogram and it was normal. could the extreme axis deviation be a benign variant in my case or could there be still something wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This is no longer considered a normal variant in young people. Any family history of note? Some forms of incomplete RBBB, especially in association with extreme left or right axis deviation can predispose you to severe life-threatening arrhythmias. A normal echocardiogram doesn't shed light on this issue. For best advice & follow-up, consult a cardiologist who specializes in electricophysiology.
