Irregular menstrual periods are common. The fluctuations of estrogen and progesterone can be easily affected by pregnancy, stress, exercise, weight gain/loss, lack of sleep, thyroid problems, medications, etc. Could any of these be a factor for you? If the symptoms persist, talk to your Dr about your irregular periods and what testing can be done to determine the cause.
