Genetic disease: Crigler-najjar disease is inherited , you may have milder type ii , caused by lacking an enzyme that conjugates bilirubin in order to excrete , so will have high levels of unconjugated bilirubin levels, exposre to uv light of sun only home therapy, hepatocyte or liver transplant is needed for cure.

Not much available: You showed courage by asking. "home" and "natural / vitamin / holistic / supplemental" remedies won't touch it. I'm going to assume you have type ii. You may have some success with Phenobarbital but it will make you tired most of the time and much less effective -- much worse than being a little bit yellow. Reassure folks it's not contagious.
