A member asked:

Can sperm die before it dries? if its in an environment (outside the body) that allows sperm to remain wet/moist say 10-12 hours, would that sperm still have risk for pregnancy or would it die overtime regardless if it has remained wet/moist so long?

Unless the semen is intentionally kept in a container, it will dry up when deposited on materials and sperms will die.
