Been taking 25mg trazodone for a few months & then 50 in start of july. about two weeks ago i took a dose of doxepin 50mg with 25mg traz at night. felt bad, hazy.only 1 time but still feel hazy. is this from doxepin, do i have to taper after 1 dose??

I would attribute this effect to the interaction between the 2 medications. I don't recommend the combination. There is a warning about the combination potentially causing a dangerous cardiac arrhythmia. I don't see a need to taper off doxipen after only one dose.

It would be best if your medication is managed by a Psychiatrist. If you are not confident with your doctor please see another for a second opinion. If you are not feeling well you may need a physical exam to find out if you are ill. Your Doctor may recommend a sleep study.
