Keep the area clean with soap & water. Hydrogen peroxide is a good simple agent that has staph killing properties & can be used as a wash but dry the area well after. A thin layer of antibiotic cream followed by loos bandaging will help. Examine the area several times daily for evidence of infection. Primar healing will take a week or more.
