CT scan findings in MS are usually nonspecific but MRI with gadolinium contrast can be more effective in seeing brain tissue. Nevertheless there's no simple Yes or No definitive results and the history & neurological physical findings are very important in making a diagnosis of MS. A neurologist should be involved in the workup of these patients.
