I was bitten by a mosquito around 3 weeks ago in the uk. the bite started off inflamed and sore. it is still inflamed but now has, dry crusty skin on and around it, blood, and an open wound where the bug has originally bitten that looks like a hole??

The bite may have been due to a spider or another insect.The area may be infected from your description. Keep the area clean and dry. The open wound will probably need to be irrigated and a dressing applied. Watch for signs of pus and fever. Follow up with urgent care. Discuss a course of antibiotic or topical antibiotic.
