That is a test to determine whether there are white blood cells in the urine. If it's positive a urinalysis & microscopic examination of the urine is needed to confirm the presence of significant numbers of white cells in the urine and a culture& colony count is done to confirm a urinary tract infection. Appropriate antibiotic treatment is required to clear up the infection.

It is screening test for urinary infection. You need to get a urine culture to rule infection. If infection is confirmed you would need prescription medication. It is not a do it yourself matter. Wish you good health!
