The most common cause of primary enuresis (never had a dry night over 6 months since birth) is heredity. There are a number of causes for secondary enuresis, losing bladder control after at least 6 months of control, e.g., diabetes mellitus/indipidus, urinary tract infection, etc.

Agree with Dr Park; this is very common although most times with primary enuresis, this improves or resolves after puberty. If you haven’t please be tested for diabetes and infection and discuss further with your doctor.
