Healthy boys get erections off and on. Healthy means no problems found on his annual check-ups by his family doctor or pediatrician. Doctors seeing teens send everybody out of the room so that the doctor and patient can do the exam and talk about life, penises, testicles, school, parents, happiness, etc. Doctors usually don't ask teens how often erections are, but all normal boys get erections.
