Pigmented Spitz Nevus are dome shaped and reddish brown to pink and may have black, blue or dark tan portions. They typically occur in persons under 20 and are benign. They grow rapidly, some eventually fade away. Rarely, some larger atypical Spitz moles can be linked with Melanoma. If a growth is large and growing rapidly, have it looked at by a dermatologist for evaluation.
