I am not certain what a bit means where you are form. 1 inch, 1 cm, 1 mm??? I have never seen or read about this problem so I suspect normal. However I have not seen many from te Philippines so I am not certain what is "normal" over/down there. Ask a local health care provider. I would measure Adam's Apples in other family members. Possible causes could be trauma or a congenital abnormality.
