A member asked:

I had my gallbladder removed about five years ago. i read that taking fish oil can actually damage your liver and create stones in the biliary duct. would it not be wise to take 1,000 mg. of fish oil if i dont have a gallbladder?

There is no evidence that taking fish oil makes a person live healthier or longer. Move to a low sodium/high potassium diet called the DASH diet which has over 1,500 pubs you can read at pubmed.com and make some decisions you self. It will likely decrease you risk of brain, heart and kidney problems in the future.
