A member asked:

Why do ranges vary so much from lab to lab for fsh? i've seen fol phase cuttoffs from 8 to over 12. regardless of this i've seen people get very nervous with an fsh over 9 despite what their lab range is. so for fsh are lab ranges even relevant?

Range is common in medicine as well as in real life because people are different. Just look at body temperature or heart rate, you already see the range. So all blood test results have their own ranges, as long as your result is within range, you are fine.

Will depend on why FSH is being measured. And will depend on the exact assay being used. Best to ask lab doing the testing.
