Oral contraceptive pills contain hormones that modify your menstrual cycle. Overdosing on them-Taking high doses of estrogen can lead to blood clots and other harmful outcomes. It can also cause worsened side effects such as bloating, breast tenderness, nausea and irregular bleeding. Always take just one pill per day at around the same time.
