I just had a period 16 days ago. i have started my period again. they last 2-3 period i spotting a day or so 2 weeks before period what are possible cause. i am 39 year old?

You should be evaluated by a gynaecologist who may do investigations to find out about the bleeding. It could be a fibroid however the problem is that if the bleeding is too frequent, it may lead to anemia. It is important to find the root cause so it could be treated.
