Last 2 weeks i get some itcy bumps here and there(1-5/day). look like mosquito bites or small hive weal at first ,and then gradually turn more red and shrink.they last 4-7 days.derm says bite or allergy.is there a way to tell the difference?

If objective, the bite reaction is an allergic response to what was injected by the bite. The symptoms and signs on the skin may be the same but if you had not had a bite then it is allergic response to a non bite chemicals that is foreign to your skin.
