Most healthy women receive two ultrasound scans during pregnancy. First one in the first trimester for gestational age (and expected due date) and the second ultrasound will be done around 20-22 weeks to confirm the normal anatomy and baby's gender. If you have only one done around 20 weeks and everything looks normal and you are completely healthy, there's no absolute need for another ultrasound.
