I would suggest quitting the scooter and observe the symptoms for a while. Due to history of anal fissure, a prolonged sitting position with constant friction may precipitate a recurrence.

You say it is comfortable yet caused discomfort in the perineum. Seats dont cause fissures-they can aggravate them Try adjusting the seat so it does not rub against the area. If it persists then you need another seat or to not ride it. It could be also apprehension
