2 months ago i stored a pack of ice cream in my freezer after having it sit at room temperature for 5 hours. i never ate it but the package was leaky and sticky. could this be a risk for a listeria outbreak inside the freezer? or cross-contamination?

In order to contaminate other foods, that ice cream is assumed to contain Listeria which is not true. You should not worry much, just clean the freezer well then you are safe.
