Lump the size of a small grape underskin next to left ear, what could it be?

These are often lymph nodes that sift through body serum in a nearby region. They enlarge when they deal with local irritation or infection.

It is likely to be an enlarged lymph node. You may feel the node/lump every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
