Washed my face with bar soap and some got in my eye. i started splashing my eyes with water by cupping my hands for 2-3 minutes. the eye was quite red, i applied drops and felt better the next day. any risk of eye damage? did i rinse enough?

The fact that the eye is feeling better is evidence that you have rinsed enough of the soap out. Irritation is normal. I’m not sure what kind of drops you used, but none are indicated for this issue.

If you can see as could before this incident, there is no cause for concern. Soap in the eye is cause of temporary discomfort. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
