Hey-Good Pickup: You are a STAR as one of my former mentors, Dr. Henry Kaminski would always say. You've just identified one of the most important things diabetics can do (aside from watching their sugars & taking their meds) to prevent complications. Diabetic foot care requires special education, footwear, & above all, VIGILANCE and DILIGENCE. Talk to his doc or nurse & get the facts. Good luck you STAR you!
