A pulse of "100-125 " is not normal, but "lung scarring" or chronic obstructive pulmonary (lung) disease (COPD) may cause lower oxygen levels and heart rate will increase. Cardiac rhythm alterations with atrial fibrillation can cause intermittent runs of pulse increase. Get a referral to a cardiologist or pulmonologist for monitoring and guidance.
