You should stop anafranil and observe the current symptoms. If they slowly resolve after 3-5 days, anafranil's side effects are likely the culprit then you need a different medication for anxiety disorder. If symptoms persist, you have a separated issue which has nothing to do with anafranil.

Focal pain as described would be highly unlikely to be associated with a medication reaction. Rather the symptoms raise questions of a coincidental Parsonage-Turner Syndrome or problem radiating from neck. See your doctor and get this directly evaluated.
