Experiencing intermittent cough foraweek.only occurs in the evening when i'm sitting. i taste phlegm don't cough it up.at times chest feels heavy, feels better after i use myinhaler. nose is runny, ears ache &feel full sporadically. no fever. ideas?

Your symptoms are suggestive of allergy to some household issue/matter. You could consult an allergist for blood tests for common household allergens. If taking an ant allergy medication like Benadryl helps that would be more evidence suggesting allergy. Wish you good health!

You have a typical, likely viral upper respiratory infection with acute bronchitis. If you were tested (-) with home rapid antigen test, you should have a PCR for ruling out Covid-19 infection. Your cough and improved symptom with bronchodilator could be due to asthma but likely not. This condition will be limited, just taking meds for sx as needed. See a doctor if having high fever & chest pain.
