One needs a more recent evaluation of the back pain including new imaging studies. There may also be a need for Physical Therapy, Graded Exercises and Programmed Swimming. A visit with the PCP for coordination of care is where to start as one needs Encouragement.

I agree that you need to be evaluated again, preferably at a spine clinic. When you had blood at the base of your spine years ago, assuming it wasn't from trauma, there must have been a small blood vessel rupture.
