The combination of high fever& diarrhea is consistent with an infectious diarrhea which could be viral or a more serious bacterial infection. A fresh warm stool specimen should be brought to the laboratory for culture & sensitivity studies. Call your MD for instructions. In the meantime drink lots of room temperature fluids, eat soft,bland foods & take Tylenol. Control severe diarrhea with imodium
