My mri shows demyelination and lesions in the juxctacortical and cerebellar peduncle areas. i have dizziness, tingling, pain, fatigue and other symptoms. my neurologist says i have ms does this sound like a fair diagnosis?

I don't have the studies to evaluate. I will say MS is a demyelinating disease of the central nervous system. The lesions,called plaques, can occur anywhere in the white matter of the central nervous system, often near the venticles. It's not the only demyelinating disease, but it is the most common. Usually several plaques seen, more occurring over time. Gadolinium can help detect newer lesions.

Probably most likely explanation at your age, BUT, your doctor needs to exclude alternative explanations, such as lupus, neuromyelitis optica, MOG, Sjogren's, various infections, B-12, etc. If the one MRI is confirmatory, then get effective therapy.
