Enteric coated aspirin 81mg is specially formulated to reduce the risk of ulcers. The indicated use of baby aspirin for primary prevention should be reviewed by a PCP to determine benefit vs. risk. If required, and there is a previous history of ulcers (stress, H pylori), and concomitant use of NSAIDs, taking a proton pump inhibitor such as Nexium, Prilosec, or Protonix can protect against ulcers
