Oral contraceptive pills (combined hormonal or progesterone only) should be taken at the same time each day and no longer than a 24 hour interval. They can be initiated at any point in the menstrual cycle as long as there is without reasonable doubt you’re not pregnant. If a dose is missed in a day, the next dose should be taken immediately and then resume daily administration

This is perfectly acceptable. You should avoid delays in taking the pill and if you can best be consistent by taking it at noon then that is your best choice.
