I have had infection for about a week now and only realizing now it's most likely yeast infection. discharge is now white.is it better to use 6 day canestan treatment versus any of the other treatments that require less treatments?

A one time oral dose of diflucan is very effective in treating simple cases of vaginal yeast infections with symptom relief in about 4 hours & eradication in a day. Heavier infections often need a second dose though. Oral diflucan is not as effective in older women.
