I feel you'll have to find a health professional who will be willing to prescribe a one time mild antianxiety medication that you could take an hour before the venipuncture takes place. If it's any help to you, toddlers.over age 2 are sometimes given a small dose of Benadryl, the antihistamine, to sedate them.
