I have been keeping my kids away from other kids because of covid while they are not in school yet & we are in 6th wave. just turn on our a/c. last 2 days, 1 year old has raspy voice. no other symptoms. what could it be?

Possibly some postnasal drip leading to hoarseness. Watchful waiting is fine unless there is accompanying difficulty breathing, fever, lethargy, or inability to eat/drink

There are many possible causes for a raspy voice in a 1 year old....most likely is just a cold or with no other symptoms if they have been crying or yelling, just a raspy voice. However, if it gets worse, or your child has other symptoms, it may be worth seeing your child's doctor and/or getting a COVID-19 test just to be sure.
