How fast: How fast is your heart rate? When you were at the hospital how fast was your heart rate? Now is it different? Is it regular or not. If it is irregular and fast like above 100 BPM you may have atrial fib. Otherwise slightly rapid heart rate is relatively common after such a major surgery due to high adrenaline, post op anemia and stress. Discuss this with your surgeon at your post op visit.
