Does vertigo go away with medicines or does it continue as something chronic over the years? my vertigo is gone after taking meds but just want to know can it come back later at any point of time?

It depends on the cause. Benign positional vertigo (BPV) can recur often but you can overcome it with exercise. Vertigo due to Meniere's disease is usually chronic but treatment can alleviate the symptoms. Vertigo due to viral labyrinthitis usually do not recur often. Fortunately, the latter is the most common and it is a self limited condition, no need for treatment.
