I (27m) started vyvanse for adhd. i have family history of high bp - mine is usually ~135/85. i am concerned about the long term effects of vyvanse on the heart. can this cause permanent damage later in life? are non-stim options safer for the heart?

Your BP is a tad high for your age. Best is to have your MD sit down and discuss all options for your ADD. In proper doses and under care of a good MD you will mot have any long term damage.
