Probably not: A low dose of atenolol should not be a problem with modest alcohol consumption. You say you are taking atenolol for hyperthyroidism, but your profile says you are on synthroid (thyroxine). Why are you on synthroid (thyroxine) if you are hyperthyroid? If you are hypothyroid but taking too much synthroid (thyroxine), then you should stop the synthroid (thyroxine) and then restart at a lower dose.

OK to drink EtOH: Hi. It's OK to drink alcohol while taking a beta-blocker. I always advise people to drink responsibly in moderation if they drink, but alcohol per se will not interfere with the beta-blocker or your hyperthyroidism (which I hope/assume has been or is being treated). Cheers!
