Vagina discharge has strong metallic smell after colposcopy. its been a week and the smell is still here even though i only experienced minimal spotting? whats going on and how long more to wait?

Strong vaginal odor most commonly results from bacterial vaginosis. The odor usually is described as "fishy", but odor is very subjective and the descriptive word doesn't mean very much. Although colposcopy or other vaginal manipulations do not usually cause BV, it might happen from time to time. Discuss with the doctor or clinic where colposcopy was done. Good luck.
