A ruptured appendix can infect your peritoneal lining of the abdomen by forming adhsions, which could obstruct your Fallopian tubes. If you are pursuing pregnancy, without success for one year, ask your GYN about a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) which is injection of sterile saline into the uterus vaginally, often clearing obstruction.
