The symptoms described are consistent with GERD which is not well controlled. Discuss adjustment of your medications, avoid large meals, eat slowly and add a probiotic daily to improve gut health. Reduce caffeine intake and decrease acidic foods in your diet. Please see a GI specialist after discussion with your physician. Watch for signs of vomiting, pain and persistent cough.

I would also continue a PPI such as omeprazole or H2 blocker like famotidine. Both are over the counter. Avoid spicy foods, caffeine, alcohol, dark chocolate, mint and any foods you notice cause indigestion. Sleep at an upright angle (1-2 pillows). Try to not eat at least 2 hr before bed. You can get some symptomatic relief with Rx for sucralfate before meals and bed. If not better, get ref to GI.
