You are urged to correct the B12 deficiency, decrease the homocysteine (risk of stroke and heart attacks), and address depression. Your doctor should be providing B12 injections, and biologically active folate can be supplemented. In USA, we have medical foods (MetanX and Cerefolin-NAC). Ask about equivalents in India.
