I have a something at the bottom of my back, a few inches left of my spine. when i press in hard enough, it feels like a bone to me. it seems to have shrunk or went down in swelling. should i be concerned? maybe get seen?

This is most likely a cyst. It can hurt if it was infected & it sounds like you have no pain. The fact that it is shrinking is good news &suggests spontaneous resolution. If it persists, enlarges or is painful, you should see your doctor.
