A member asked:

When cleaning due to pressure when holding the rag/paper towel, i seem to have developed a bump on pointer finger top side that's about 1 cm big. is this a wart? i guess it appeared after putting pressure on it as i rubbed the towel. can it go away?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It could be a callus/corn. You may watch and wait. If the lesion more than doubles in size, ulcerates, bleeds, or other lesions appear, it would be prudent to see a doctor. It is likely that with the removal of the pressure/insult, it will resolve. Wish you good health!
