You want to wait until all the extraction sites are closed so no openings are present. Particles of rice and crust could get into holes and cause delayed healing and possible infection. Eat foods that don't up into small pieces and are soft. Pasta, chicken, shrimp, any thing you have to chew .Keep area clean and rinse after eating to keep debris out of extraction sites.

If you aren’t in pain and it’s been 2 weeks, eat what you want. The areas where the teeth were extracted will have divots in the gums and likely trap food for many months after the extraction but don’t be afraid to eat what you want. If food gets trapped behind the second molars, just rinse or brush it out.
