A member asked:

Is ct or mri enterography good to see if there's tumors in colon/rectum? i don't want to be sedated or anything up my rectum?

CT and MRI are not conclusive for diagnosis of early carcinoma of colon or rectum. Early lesions can be visualized and biopsied for mor accurate diagnoses. A FIT test can also show cellular changes suggestive of malignancy.

A colonoscopy can be done without sedation if you are willing to put up with the discomfort and pain. Trump got his colonoscopy without sedation. Read this: https://khn.org/morning-breakout/trump-medical-mystery-solved-but-why-was-a-colonoscopy-kept-secret/
