Is it possible to have the autoimmune disease thyroid eye disease but have hypothyroidism instead of hyperthyroidism? thank you?

Eventually autoimmune thyroid disease will kill the thyroids hormone production and result in hypothyroidism or the meds uses to stop n overactive gland will do the same. The eye disease is a separate issue but related to the autoimmune activity.
