It is not feasible to fully understand the rationale for your intense anxiety based upon your brief post. Would recommend you get proactive and seek counseling ASAP. Have found that cognitive-behavioral therapy is highly effective, but might also consider biofeedback therapy. Addressing your emotional reactions at this point could truly enhance quality of life.

Even though this unpleasant for you now, following through w/some support from a psychologist can have lasting benefits for the future. It may be that you already had a low-level anxiety disorder.
